NOT GOOD, MY BEST FRIEND WAS A 2-3 YEAR ADDICT. KICKED IT WITH SUB. AND IS ON ON 24MG. HOWEVER SLIPPED UP AND TOOK 1,200 MG OVER 5 DAYS AND HAS TO DO A U/A (URINE TEST) NEXT MONDAY THE 28TH.

OF COURSE HE IS FEELING LOUSY AND I TOLD HIM TO COME CLEAN WITH HIS DR. AND HE SAID THAT THIS WOULD BE HIS SECONG RELAPSE (FUNNY HE NEVER TOLD ME THE FIRST!) AND HIS DR. TOLD HIM ONE MORE BAD TEST AND WE ARE DONE, HONESTY OR NOT. SO HE IS CRACKED AND AFRAID HE IS GOING TO GET BOOTED FROM THE PROGRAM, SHAME ON HIM AND HE KNOWS IT BUT DOES ANYONE HAVE A CLUE IF HE HAS A SHOT AT A CLEAN TEST?. I once had to find the answer to this very question and very UNscientifically, since my brain is 53 and no longer at it's peak...as I recall I was told by a lab that most narcotics excluding methadone, will exit the system in a week and perhaps less by a day or so(meaning a test will not show them on board). If I were this friend I would have him/her exercise as much as possible and drink gallons. Here's to slurping up.

yeap, she's right... Oxys stay in your system for about 72 hours. Exercising helps a lot, drinking a lot of water also does. If he takes a bottle of "ReadyClean" an hour before he goes to take his test (it lasts about 4-5 hours) he will pass (if he doesnt do it again!) the only problem with passing is if youre smoking a large amount of weed-and if its too close to the drug test date, etc. the stuff costs $25 in stores (pharmacies have it, most GNC's dont sell it anymore..depending on your state) it's more, maybe $35-50 if you buy online (including 1-2 day shipping) last but not least, i hope your friend doesnt slip up again... he should be fine, he caught the problem in the begining, which is good for him.

If I read your post right your friend is on 24mg of suboxone now? If he/she is tested for opiates the test will show positive because the sub is an opiate. Also, 24mgs seems quite a high dose. But exercise and fluids (lots and lots of fluids) and whatever that stuff they sell in "head" shops is should do the trick

Seems kind of counter productive to be talking about how to beat a unrinalysis. But the best thing for you friend to do is to wake the he11 up and stay on the program.

Suboxone this is totally off the subject but I have a few questions and I am really hoping you can help. I have been hooked on OC's for three years. I am up to about 100 MG.'s a day chewed. I dont remember a day gone by that I haven't taken that much. I hate my life. I am a slave to this drug. I cry every night because all I can think off is how I'm going to survive. I dont even get high anymore I just stabilize. I have tried oh-so-many times to stop but I couldn't bare the W/D's than I startted reading about Suboxone and suddenly a ray of hope was introduced. Please can you tell me anything I should no about it? Did it help? How hard is it to get? I am so confused and i am drowning? Please any inforamtion would be great.

Sorry I didn't see your post till now.......I was taking 20-30 10mg of Vicodin and also 5-6 80's of OXY or whatever was available. My life was on the clock and at every 4-5 hors I'd spend at least $100.00 a shot to "stabalize" I also lost the buzz years ago, one day I asked on this board I'm taking 4-5 vicodins and getting no buzz! ya, dum-shiat your addicted :) so the story goes.

Suboxone has saved my life, my career and finacial well being :) go to www.suboxone.com look for a physcisian locator in your state. What state are you in?.........Either that or rehab my friend. Let me know what I can do....

Thank-you for the words of advice, I checked out the website it was great and loaded with information. I found a few physcians, now I just need to find the courage to walk in the clinic or call the doctor. I'm so afraid.... This board really helps and truly apperciate your words thank you

Hey scaredhelpless...you will be fine..I work for a corp that if found out that
I' m addicted to drugs..I would be fired. I went to a local doctor that i foung on that site and it cost me 150 for the firts visit and 75 for each addiditonal visit. I was taking 4 80's a day..chewing and snorting. The "BEST ADVICE" THAT I CAN GIVE YOU IS TO BE HONEST WITH THE DOC...
He started me out on subutex... that has no blocker in it and in case you have any OC's in your system this is what you should start with. I signed a confidentaility (sp?) form..the doc cannot let my info out to NOONE!..
I started by taking one 8mg subutex every 8 hrs for 2 weeks and then 3/4 of one every 8 hrs for 1 week, then 1/2 one evry 8 hrs for 2 weeks..now i;m done to 1/4 every 12 hrs or even longer between doses. it took about 2 weeks after stopping taking OC's to get my energy back and the haze out of my mind.
Thank God for Subutex!!! it saved my life!!! You cannot get high on subutex. you cannot drink alcohol or take and opiates or codeine..If you have aheadach...subutex is a pain killer so you should not need anything for pain.
I have tried methadone and other substances to quit this and subutex is the ANSWER!!!
