Hello All,
I was wondering, who diagnoses fibro? Your regular MD or some type of specialist? Do neurologists help?
I have also posted on the Lyme board with my laundry list of symptoms but it seems like most of them can cross over to here to. I am sick of being sick and tired. Have tested normal for thyroid, negative for diabetes and RA.
Most recent symptom (along with all my others) is horrific jaw pain in left jaw, sometimes a burning or tingling there too. Now on Tegretol for that, which seems to have helped, now I just get the tingling and burning.
My other question is, do you find that these symptoms can come and go? Just wondering where else to turn. Thanks, K9 :)

Thanks Marie55,
Not really sure what is wrong with me I just know that over 3 yrs of this stuff on and off is getting to be too much.
Do others of you have symptoms that come and go? Like for days at a time?

K9,
You could test find for thyroid, but not have a fine thyroid. If they did not test your reverse T3, which most docs don't, you did not have an accuate test. Go to the fibro candida thread and read what I posted there about this so I don't have to type it again. :)

Hi kbak,
I just had another round of thyroid testing done and am not sure if reverse was included in that or not. Still awaiting some of my results. Hope they shed some light on this stuff, if not at least they rule out a bunch more possibilities. Thanks, K9
