HI all, Its raining and dreary and I am paying for it. I feel so weird today. Like I am in a dream or something. I have a buzzing on top of my shoulders that feels like wasps have taken up residence there. My arms and legs feel heavy, numb, face feels tingly, vision screwed, shakey etc. Also my head in the back feels like its ready to explode and my ears feels plugged like I am under water or something. Pleasant huh? I have my first appt with a rheumy on April 20 so I hope it can be of some help. I'm scared. I know thats irrational as most "devastating" ailments have been ruled out ie ms, tumor etc but you guys know how this dd keeps you second guessing everything. If it isn't fibro then I cant even imagine what it could be. One question I have that I keep forgetting to ask is do all of you have these symptoms everyday?? I can honestly say that for 1 year now I have not felt even remotely like myself for one day and I am serious, not one single day. Is that indicative of fibro??? Also, and I know this has been addressed in other posts but are these neuro symptoms normal??? Sorry to be such a whiner, but this consumes me constantly and I feel like that is playing a big part in it because I can never get my mind off of it. Hey everyone, thanks for listening to me gripe, sorrrrrry :p , if this is what Spring will be like I wont be able to stand it and then theres summer where I feel like s... during the heat, whats a girl to do?????
Best,
Kim

I have neuro symptoms and my neuro and rheumy think it's fibro. I get the tremors, the buzzes, the twitches, weakness, headaches, tingling, numbness, heaviness of the limbs-moreso even than the pain.
My pains are neck, back, hand stiffness, hip flexors, knees, and any joint that stays immobile for too long, like when I'm watching T.V. in one position and go to get up-oh do I pay!
I'm not sure if I have fibro yet either, my rheumy is ruling out auto-immune diseases, and my new neuro is doing a second MS work up since I have a lesion on my cervical spine that is probably a cyst, but she just wants to be sure.
Hope we all figure out what is ailing us, like yesterday!
