I do. Every single day I have anxiety. Especially at night. I get panic attacks too. But the anxiety is my big problem. I feel like I can't get a good breath, chest pains, heart palpatations, dizziness....Even when I am drifting off to sleep I am afraid that I am dying. That moment right when I am falling asleep I jerk myself awake because I am afraid that my body is dying instead of falling asleep. I hate it. Last night I was at a restaurant and was afraid to get out of my seat to leave because I was afraid that I would pass out and look like an idiot in front of everyone. I get like that alot when I am out in public. Oh well, I try not to let anxiety control my entire life. I sometimes yell at myself (silently, lol) and tell myself to chill out and that it is all in my head. That helps sometimes.

Hi, I'm the same as marblehead, it's with me all day, everyday! The main feeling for me is breathlessness.
Keeping occupied helps me the most, but even then i can't forget about it.
Marblehead...do you ever wake in the night breathless or can you sleep till the morning?

No I usually dont have any problems once i am sleeping. And when I awaken in the morning I feel fine. Another problem I have with anxiety is when I am looking forward to something I get these feelings of doom. Like for example, if I am going on vacation or something then I have major anxiety that something is going to happen to me or that I wont make it until my vacation. Does that make sense? Kind of ruins it for me....I should be all excited about whatever it is that Im looking forward to but I cant because I end up worrying that I will die before it even happens.

The thing that really bothers me is the breathing, its like I cant take a breath and I have such a tight feeling in my throat. I keep telling myslef its anxiety, but sometimes I think its asthma, but no wheezing or coughing, so I think its all in the mind !

24/7 anxiety. I have the symptoms of anxiety all the time. Sometimes, they switch. One time it will be constant urination and then when that clears up, I will go into not being able to breathe properly. I have heart palpations, dizziness, foggy brain and increased muscle tension which probably causes all the other symptoms.

I had that breathless thing when I had panic disorder years ago--it will get better. I am not sure what causes it, but yeah, you feel like you can't catch your breath--sometimes I would hyperventilate a little because of it. Do you take meds???? That is what finally got rid of it for me.

This is my worst symptom, too. I have had feelings of breathlessness on a daily basis for almost 2 years now. I've had any serious medical problems ruled out, so my Dr.'s believe it's due to anxiety. I have a lot of other symptoms on a daily basis...but this is the one that bothers me the most.

Yes this is also the one that bothers me the most, it really is annoying.I cant go anywhere without feeling this symptom, even on the way to work everyday in the car I get it, it seems like a natural part of my day now !
And associated with this I occassionally get "gloomy" thoughts aswell if anone can relate ?!

I take half inderal la 80mg on a daily basis, it works in slowing my heart down and helping me relax. I may seek another med to help me through though.

What has everyone found the best ?
