My doc just gave me a script for 90 1gm Valtrex pills. Then I saw that on-line this will run $800! This is an out-of-pocket expense. Does anyone know of an inexpensive... or at least the least expensive... source for this?

Try acyclovir...its the same drug (Valtrex, or valayclovir breaks down into acyclovir), but its cheaper. The only difference is that acyclovir doesn't "absorb" as well as Valtrex, so you have to take a higher dosage of it to get the same effect (which means taking the pills more often).
