I have been having pain in the front of my lower leg. It might be from going back to work after having my baby, im a waitress and just went back yesterday and the pain started today. It hurts when i walk or if i move it around, i wasnt sure if they came in the front of the leg as well as the back, i have no swelling or discoloration or anything just the pain.

Pain in the back of the leg is what I had, and thats where all your veins are. Main symptoms are calf pain, discoloration and swelling.
In my case my ankle blew up to the size of a football =/ so it was quite obvious something else was wrong.
Scary thing is some people get no symptoms

have a doctor look at it anyway ,
my pain was in my hip i thought because i was pregnant , the baby was sitting on my siatic nerve
turned out i have a dvt from my groined to my mid thigh
every one feels pain diffrently , talking to a doctor will only help to either figure out the problem if there is one or ease your mind

I had DVT and had 4 clots move to my lungs. My legs never hurt until a few days after the clots moved. I know exactly when they moved because I stopped breathing. The air just completely shut off! No gasping or anything. I guess I was disoriented or shocked because I fell backwards and I hit the refrigerator behind me. They said this is what moved the clot out of my airway. I went to the ER and the doc said oh you got asthma and sent me home with an inhaler. I ran around doing normal routine for 3 days. I got up in the middle of that third night to use the restroom and noticed my leg was bright red and heavy feeling. My sister is an LVN and she came in there and pushed up my toes and asked me where it hurt. It hurt in my thigh on top. She said that is one simple way of testing, not always right and doesn't always show but sometimes it works. It is suppose to pull in your calf area and if it pulls or hurts in another area it could be a sign of a clot. We waited until morning and went to the doc i saw in the ER. By morning my leg was swollen all the way passed my hip. I could not even bend my leg to sit down it was so tight. He thought for sure it was DVT then and said he never suspected it before because I was only 22 and it was rare for someone so young. He sent me to the nearby city and they ran all the tests and confirmed the DVT. My leg was full of clots across my groin and down past my knee. The only pain I remember having beforehand was in my lower back. I was drinking cranberry juice because I was thinking it may be a UTI and it was the clots. This was 9 years ago and since then I have had superficial clots in my Saphnus vein, don't know if that is spelled right. The superficial clots hurt so bad I wanted to die. I could not sit, stand or lay down without pain. Had way more pain and symptoms than with the DVT. It is wierd because everyone's pain is different and you can never be sure without a Doppler scan or sonogram of the area.
