I am suspected by my mom to have Dyscalculia, I show a lot of the signs but not all of them. Does a person have to show all the signs to have it?

Tell us what are you signs?...

Unless mom is an expert in that area am afraid she is not qualified to make such a profound judgement.

Poor performance in mathematics is simply not enough!

Mom had me look up the symptoms on the internet and suspects that's what I might have cuz I am 22 & when I was in school a cause of my disability was never found (but I do have hydrocephalus).

Maybe not much was known of dyscalculia back then, or maybe the educators were distracted by your condition (?disability you say?).

Which ever the case, you can be tested now ...and can be helped! At any rate, even in the abscence of diagnosis, whatever teaching strategies are employed to help those diagnosed with dyscalculia or any other learning difficulties (eg dyslexia), would also be helpful to you...you simply have to find a teacher qualifiedto do so.

I am assuming of course that you want to improve in mathematics?

Does anyone know where to start looking to find an educational evaluator? I have serious problems doing even simple equations in my head and seriously need help to learn math, I know I can't learn like others. I need help.

Yes! I want to improve in mathematics! I am visualy impaired and was not taught Braille in school, but I taught myself most of the different codes. I even learned how to do two-step equations in Braille. To this day I primarilly still use large print but Braille gets used when needed.
