Hi,
I've seen several people write about which vitamins or supplements are healpful in reducing dysplasia. Does anyone know which ones are generally thought to help?
I have my LEEP on 4/15, and I'd really like to avoid a recurrence. I quit smoking a while ago and am pretty healthy otherwise. But if there's something I could actively do, that would be great.

Folic acid is at the top of the list, usually with beta carotene.
In general, antioxidants/free-radical scavengers and immune boosters are thought to be of most help. Here are some examples:
Selenium w/ Vitamin E
Quercetin
Indole-3-Carbinol (I3C, found in cruciferous vegetables)
Lycopene (found in tomatoes)
L-Lysine
Copper, Magnesium, Zinc
Various herbal immune-boosters (echinacea, mushroom cocktails, green tea extracts w/ EGCG, ginger, etc.)

I've heard that a low dosage (if you're already taking a multivitamin, higher dosage if you're not) B Complex promotes good cell development (and you should also be taking a B Complex if you are on the Pill)

My question is probably stupid... but I do need to ask. Does anybody know of any B complex supplements that do not smell just awful? I have tried several brands and the smell makes me gag so badly that I find it impossible to take the pills.
Sorry for the silly question... Feel free to ROFL... :D
