I have thick curly and frizzy hair. It is so wild, I wear it up most of the time because I don't like messing with it. I have a Conair flat iron and it takes so long to get my hair to do anything with it. I have seen the True Ceramic Pro flat iron advertise on t.v. and it (seems) to glide right through the hair and the first time is a success! Has anyone tried one of these, and does it work like the t.v. says it does?

I have not tried that brand, but I also had a conair flat iron that did not do a very good job. I purchased a good one from a beauty suplly. It is made by Inis. It works very well.

I bought the true ceramic pro after my old flat iron died on me. It's expensive... and really not that much better than other ceramic plated flat irons that i have tried. Go to a beauty supply store and have them recommend a ceramic plated flat iron that is reasonably priced.
