Hello! It's so awesome to be able to communicate with other people struggling with FMS. I've been having flushing and swelling in my face, which I didn't really pay attention to until it recently worsened. The earpieces of my glasses dig into the area above my ears when the swelling occurs, and it's very painful. I have an appt. with a dermatologist in a couple of weeks to see if it's rosacea. For several years I've had conjunctivitis and episcleritis off and on in my eyes, which I now read can be part of rosacea. Does anyone else get these symptoms with FMS? It sounds more like lupus to me, but my blood tests for lupus are always negative.

Sigh. One thing I keep telling my husband about fibromyalgia is that it's never boring. There's always some new, exciting symptom!! I don't just have the same old symptoms over and over!! :)

Swollen face is also a sign of Cushing's I believe, as well as other problems. Best wishes to you.
