Anyone ever get dermatitis from too much rubbing alcohol? Trying to figure out what's triggering. Thanks.

I usually use Rum.The taste is so much better.Rubbing alcohol is way too stong with Coke.

Yes you most definately can! It's an irritation really, from the alcohol having removed all the skin oils. It can happen pretty quick too.

Thanks kitkat! Okay, this seems like a weird question, but what about vinegar? I was handling some of that too. Just trying to figure this out.

No, vinegar is safe for the skin and in fact if you mix it with water and apply it to skin, it will give you a good ph balance.
If you have an inflamed, slightly red raised area (skin may even appear shiny in spots), you got it from the alcohol. Especially the alcohol preps that come in those little packages -- SUREFIRE way to get a rash!
