Hey everyone.. Well, this day two.. I am not as swore was i was yesterday. Today I am going to try to take a shower and let my mother change my bandage :D That is what scares me the most.. I guess what is swore the most is lower my sides of my body. One thing I have noticed I have not gone and done number 2 and ate breakfest, dinner, supper yesterday and breakfest this morning. But I took a lative this morning at 6am. So maybe it would come evetually :) But i have tinkled alot though.. But anyways, that is the start of day 2 for me.. Just wanted to update, I got in the shower while ago all by myself and I stood up for like 5 min!! and i did good. It felt like heaven in that shower!!! And mom changed my dressing. I looked in the mirror at my inceision. Kinda neat. Now the next thing is be able to do number 2.. Ok guys talk to ya later.. Tracy

One suggestion, if the laxitive doesn't help, don't delay. Get a mild enemia from the store or Milk of Magnesia. Don't let it go too long, it will only make it worse !!!

thanks, it is 1:52pm and i still have not had a number 2 since friday morning.. Thank you so much for you help. I am fixen to take another one of them latitive tablets. If that don't help I will tell my mom to go and get a emenima thanks a bunch. Tracy

i went into surgery about 11am friday morning, it was a lamonecity and diskteomey., I can't spell real good. I got out Sat around 9:30am. I took another pill, and I finally did do number 2 late this afternoon. No Saturday morning in the hospital I was ready to go home. Because I had done been up walking friday 2 hours after my surgery, because they did not have a foley in me.. so i had get up and boy did hurt, but the more I got the better it got. Now around 4am sat morning i had to go the bathroom and that hurt sooooo bad.. And I can't sleep on my back right now, I have to sleep on my sides.. does anybody know who long it will be before I can sleep on my back?? just wondering and how long does it take for the sworness to go away? ahhh. That is the main problem. My whole bottom half from my rib cage to my kidney's is sworeeeeeee.. Ok I am going to take another shower.. Talk ya later. Tracy
