Hi,
I actually came here for advice on bone fractures but I noticed this. I'm 18 and have had therapy for anger management but it persists. My girlfriend accidentally tapped me in the lip and it cut on my teeth, I got angry and punched a door and managed to fracture my hand in 4 places. Now I can't play for my basketball team which is what I love most. Is there ANYTHING I can do to quicken healing? I overload myself with calcium, is there anything else considering I'm wearing a cast and have 3 pins in my hand?

Hi Coll, I know some people have a reaction like that when hit in the head etc. At least you were wise enough to hit something besides your girlfriend. If you have had previous problems continue in your search for help. You can probally find a web site that would offer tips. I was married to a man that had that problem and it ruined 3 marriages for him. Try counting to 10 or walking away. I have major pain problems that just wears me down to the point that I too recently had a verbal outburst to a RUDE coworker. Just never hit anyone....good luck in your ventures and continue with your sports...i am watching North Carolina and Stanford play now. But I am really a DUKE fan.
