View Full Version : swollen a year later - Wisdom Tooth Extraction

A little over a year ago I had an impacted, infected, bottom wisdom tooth pulled. I was put on antibiotics and everything was fine in a few weeks, end of story no big deal thought it was over.

Well I guess not because for the last few days I have chipmunk mouth (swollen) again in the area were the tooth was pulled over a year ago. I however do not have any pain.

Has anyone experienced this? Do I have cause to worry? I know I should see a dentist again, but really want to hear what others have to say, because I really can't afford a dental visit right now and like I said im not in pain and the longer I can put of a dental visit the better (financially).

thanx,
Dave

Swelling like this is not normal...might be an infection. You really should see a dentist!
