View Full Version : fatigue can be caused by a sleep disorder

after being half dead with cronic fatigue for several years I eventually realised I had sleep apnea and was diagnosed with an overnight sleep study at a sleep lab
heavy snoring and restless sleep is a sign and I had both problems

I saw many docs, none ever asked me about my sleep or whether I snored

I now use a CPAP machine every night and have lots more energy and much better health

sadly the sleep disorder experts and cronic fatigue experts dont talk with each other

tape record your self if you sleep alone, there neednt be pauses in the breathing as the apnea or blockage can happen on every breath

I wonder if restless sleep alone can cause fatigue.....I know that I haven't slept through the night in so long (without a Tylonol PM). My hubby snores and that is what keeps me up or wakes me up.
