Is this child autistic or ADHD? A family member is a hypnotist. The person has to want it to work. The person has to have goals. The person has to be able to follow directions during the session. have you tried b-complex vitamins?

If a persons mind is going so fast that they cant concentrate of if their body has too much built up energy hypnosis would prove to be quite difficult. Does your son have some sort of condition that causes this aggression? I am ADHD along with some things and I am currently taking a product called beCalmd which if you go to askjeeves.com and search for "beCalmd" you will get a list of about 10 different sellers. This product is natural and safe. It is Non herbal. Its actual vitamins and amin acids. It has helped me a lot. You may want to try something like that or as someone before me said the vitamin B complex. Once able to calm down and focus a bit hypnosis could be very helpful but 30 minutes is too long for one session. It would be best to start off with sessions of about 10 minutes each and do one or two sessions per day. After you start seeing results with that then you can increase the time span of the sessions. I have to use hypnosis every night in order to be able to sleep. If he cant calm down enough for hypnosis try some stretching/breathing techniques and physical exercises that are non aggressive/non competitive. Aroebics is good. There are aroebic video tapes for begginers, in the backround they play calming music. Its easy to copy the moves the instructor does. Watching the tape in a calm quiet room while doing the aroebics along with the people on the tape can be very relaxing. Some of these have a short meditation at the end.
