After reading several posts here, I'd like to share some things that have worked (are working) for me:
======================================== ===

* Taking prescription SSRI
* COMMUNICATION - regularly with wife - keeps things from getting bottled up
* EXERCISE - wife & I see personal trainer together (in addition, should do aerobic 3x/week for 30-60 minutes)
* READ - helps me forget about my troubles - preps me for bed.
* BREATHING - Listen to tapes to promote deep breathing/relaxation/meditation.
* YOGA - breathing/stretching/relaxation
* MASSAGE - Get knots worked out - feel extremely relaxed afterwards.
* CHIROPRACTOR - get regular adjustments
* reduced my stress load at work - if this didn't happen, I would have left for sure.
* PRAYER

Dietary changes:
======================================== ===
* No/little caffine
* No/little alcohol
* few sweets - use Splenda instead of sugar.
* replaced candy bars with protein bars

I try to get enough sleep every night too. I hate taking sleeping pills. Had some success with calcium citrate/magnesium citrate blend. MELATONIN (3mg) works great for me! Have heard that Hops work too.

Am I anger free? NO. But my bursts of anger are few and far between, and only last for brief moments.

Now, I'm trying to stop and smell the roses.

Does anyone else have any others they'd like to share?
Or have you had success with any I've mentioned?

Have a SENSE OF HUMOR. Many times the things that get us angry are laughable. Don't get too uptight!

Peace
