i was wondering if anyone could tell me what they went through after going off the pill. I have been off the pill for 2 months and my last "normal period" was 2 1/2 months ago. I was getting nervous of the possibility of pregnancy when i got what i think is my period last thursday morning but it stopped friday morning and it usually goes 7-8 days. On top of that me and my boyfriend had sex on friday and the condom broke. He is freaking out.
if anyone has any comments on this please post them it would be greatly appreciated.

While it's common to have irregular cycles after stopping the pill, you should definately take a pregnancy test.

You can always chart your fertility signs. This will let you know when you are truly late (as in ovulation happened and your period didn't come) and when you just didn't ovulate. If you just want to use it to predict your periods, this could be as simple as wiping before you use the bathroom and checking for cm. If you wanted to use it as birth control, I'd definitely read Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler.
