I was suppost to have back surgery 2 months ago. They did a PTT test and I was told that my blood isn't clotting and they were scared I would bleed out on the table. So I was sent to an Oncologist. After several blood test I am now told I have this "syndrome". But... the doctor doesn't speak english very well and I missed 95% of what he told me today. Yes I am going to try and get a second opinion, but until then is there anyone out there who can answer some questions for me?
1. Have I had this all my life?
2. Is it hereditary?
3. Is there a cure?
4. Is it life threatening?
5. How does this effect the rest of my life?
I have thousands more questions. I hope to eventually get answered. But I just found this out today and I am so overwhelmed by it all so any help would be appriciated.

Hi Angel,
I'm not sure about your blood disorder; I have a different one. But can you try a search on the net? Type the name of it in a search box, and you should find a fair bit on here. My blood disorder means my blood doesn't clot and I have problems with my period, surgeries, and the like. Anyways, let us know what you find out.
Best of luck!! :)
