I've been on birth control for about 2 1/2 years. I am going off it because my boyfriend and I broke up. I am wondering what the side effects are, and what to expect.

i just got off the pill two months ago. so far no side effects got my period last week only lasted a day. I lost most of the weight i gained when i was on the pill within a few weeks :) which i am very happy about thats all i can tell you so far i will keep you updated if you want

Sometimes when I stop I have no side effects. Other times I get some headaches or nausea.

I'm also going off the pill (tri-cyclen)... I have one more week to finish the pack. I never thought there would be negative side effects, or any at all for that matter! I'm expecting to somehow "feel" differently, and I'm very excited about it! Did any of you experience this at all? In a good way, I mean?

Today is my third day off Nordette and I am soooo glad I stopped. So far no side effects for me except for the fact that I am no longer moody and depressed and have been less and less exausted each day.
