In general how long will it take to withdraw from Zoloft if I have been on it for 2 weeks? Can't get rid of the insomnia.

not long, taper off over a few days, alternately you could swap to another zoloft type med in the hope it suits you better
IMO these antidepressant meds are often oversold and overprescribed do you really need one?, perhaps relaxation and more exercise would be enough

I wonder that too sometimes. it seems like doctors are quick to prescribe meds. i've been on Lexapro now for 3 weeks. i don't like it. would it be wise to just stop?

For only 2 weeks, you will probably have no withdrawal symptoms, maybe a few extra trips to the bathroom if that.......
