For about a week there has a been a strange dark discoloration around my neck, it is very spread out and looks dark gray to black. I am a little worried about this and was wondering if anyone had any idea what it was? Thanks...

I think this may be caused by not strubbing your neck properly. Dirt gets trapped around that area quite easily, and when you have a shower if you're not scrubbing properly it can cause a greyish/blackish discoloration to occur. So next time you take a shower make sure to scrub that area and see if the color starts to fade. Hope I helped.

Check with your doctor, it could be a sign of Insulin Resistance.
