It has only been about three weeks since I had contact intercourse, and now I am bleeding pretty heavily. My period started last week like it was supposed to but it was spotting only, now this week I am bleeding heavy and passing clots bigger than usual.
I do plan to see the doctor since I have been bleeding now going on two weeks. I am a little scared at what the cause may be. Is it too soon for this to be a miscarriage?

A miscarriage can happen at any time.
I re-read your post. I doubt you were pregnant to begin with. Did you take a pregnancy test?

No, i havent taken a pregnancy test. I'm kind of afraid really. Miscarriages run in my family though. My main concern is that I started bleeding again after I thought my period was over and I am usually very regular.

it sounds like it could have been a miscarriage to me. implantation bleeding is often mistaken for a light period, with spotting only. early miscarriages that are mistaken for a late, heavy period are also very common. to have both things occur seems plausible to me. check with a doctor, though.

saw the doc today and she confirmed that i was preg. said that if i keep bleeding will loose it but that if it stops it may be alright. i am not that far along so she said i will have wait. i have a follow up next week and she will be testing my hcg level.

i truthfully dont think it has hit me yet. i will be stayin home from work tomorrow and will be in the bed. all this bleeding is really draining.
