Hey all, how are you? Just got a quick question for you all, hopefully one of u can help me. Every time I go to the doctor, my white blood cell count shows as being low. It has been this way for the past several years, although i have been sick every time I go to the doctor, and they have never been concerned, so maybe thats not a big deal. A few years back my white blood cell count was showing up way below 3.0, then they gave me some antibiotics and it went up into the normal range rather quickly. Anyway, I am currently not sick, and went to the doctor for a regular checkup, and my wbc count showed up right at 3.0. The doc never even mentioned it or anything, i just noticed it as I looked at my blood chart (as he was out of the room haha). Should I be concerned about this? I realize a rating of 3000 is not extremely low... but I am just wondering why it is always that way. I do drink and smoke often (Im 22, what can I say), so maybe that is what is making it show up low all the time? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
