My friend's 10 year old daughter was just diagnosed with a very rare (2 in 1,000,000) blood disorder called AHA. Please, if you can tell me where I might find information about this disorder I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very, very much.

I forgot to state the following:

She started Prednisone Sunday, 3/9. By next Thursday, she will have been receiving Prednisone for 11 days. Her last bloodwork was 3/14, Friday, HGB5.2 (had been stable all week) and RETC steadily up all week to 10.2.
