pete0303 03-30-2005, 02:19 PM my HGB HCT RBC SEGS and monocytes and PTT are all elevated with low lymphocytes does anyone know what this could mean? Little Wonder 03-30-2005, 02:33 PM Hi pete0303, I don't know a whole lot on those but I do know, because I've done it, that you can web search "Blood Lab Results" and such and get a ton of info. Sorry I can't be of more help! B rontiss1 04-16-2005, 02:54 PM  Hi Pete: I only know about one test which is the hemocrit level test.More than likely it was the one marked "hct" for a man it should be 42 and above, ive seen it all the way to 54...the reason I know is mine is very low at 35, which they blame it on my poor diet? They gave me a list of iron riched foods to eat. I never had this problem, I exercise, I thought I ate well and everything else is ok. the hemocrit level are the red blood cells that carry oxygen to the organs in the body...very low levels are a sign of a condition in the body. Hope this helped a little...GL |
