My doctor scared me to death when mine was slightly elevated and the fact I had two blood clots in my right arm, had a colonoscopy in march and a couple days later my right arm was swollen, found out I have a SVT and DVT in my arm. They think it was caused by IV in right hand but first CBC showed a slightly elevated HGB and HCT, but one week later everything was back to normal.
