I eat way to much. I eat for comfort mainly. I am going to try to join the boards and see if I can help motivate myself to finally realize that I have a food addiction. It doesnt help that I have quit smoking 2 months ago and turned to eating even more food. I dont understand why I cant seem to stop eating so much. I know that it puts the weight on. Welll Dr.Phil would say its my inner dialog. I guess I am looking to listen to positive people right now and to see that it can be done. Thanks for listening.

Well you have taken the first step. The whole thing is a lifestyle changing process. If you do not buy junk food and do not have it in your house that is a start. Surround yourself with good wholesome foods. Fruit veggies etc.
Writ down what you eat in a day. The hardest part is getting started once you start to see the results of your hard work that will be enough motto.
You can beat your food addiction. There are many many people that have addictions to food and beat it. What makes them any diffrent than you? They are not better than you. You can do it if you really want too. Think of your health instead of weight.
