Hello. About 2 1/2 months ago I started having a fever and bad pains in my left leg between the groin and knee area. I went to the doctor several times and he ran several tests but kept telling me it was anxiety and put me on lexapro. The pain in my leg eventually went away but then a tightness/pain in my chest/left arm started and I could sometimes feel this strange sensation traveling between my left chest and behind my belly button. I went to the doctor again and my heart still sounded fine and my blood pressure was fine as well. I continue to have the sharp chest pain and arm tightness as well as the weird feeling behind my belly button. And after looking at the symptoms for blood clots, I'm afraid I have one that started in my leg, broke off and is now traveling between my arm, heart, and behind my belly button. I've asked my doctor several times if he thought it was one, but keeps assuring me that it isn't.

These pain/sensations have been REALLY bothering me for the past 2 1/2 months. Can someone please help me???

When was the last time you had your Potassim level checked?

The next time you go to the doctor have him check your red blood cell count.

If you generate too many red blood cells they will restrict the flow of blood through out your body.

This can cause muscle & head pain because the body is not getting enough oxygen. The blood is too thick to flow through the small passages.

go to another and get another opinion.
it would help if u went for an ultrasound and xrays of your chest and legs.
i had a really stiff, swollen and painful right leg late last year . for a month i couldnt stand up straight and i went to 2 doctors and both said i had muscle strains. then i went to another doctor. he said the same thing and gave me vioxx. it didnt calm down my muscle pain so i went back to him, went for an ultrasound and it confirmed i had developed Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)....
your situation sounds really serious , especially if its going up in the arm and chest.
ge it checked out. cos u never know if the clot (if thats what it is ur experiencing) will go up to the brain and cos brain damage.

My doctor found my blot clot by running an ultrasound on my leg.
