A week ago, my doctor did standard blood tests for lymphoma. They came back normal. Since I have an unexplainable cyst on the spleen, he said there's another blood test that could be done to tell me definitely if I have lymphoma. He said the standard blood tests are not definitive, but that this one would be. Has anyone ever heard of this blood test?

To my knowledge there is no blood test for lymphoma. There is a biopsy of an available lymphnode, and there is a bone marrow biopsy. In these tests, they extract fluid not blood, and look for cancer cells under the microscope.

HI,

Don't CBC counts rule out lymphoma?
