sammy726 03-31-2005, 07:06 PM Does anyone use these? If so, please give me some feedback on your experience. Thanks! Sponsor NancyH 03-31-2005, 10:19 PM I've used it in the past, it was ok, but it wasn't any better than the drug store products that were alot cheaper. picksie 04-01-2005, 10:21 AM I'm curious - which drugstore products are comparable? I ask because I just bought three items from them, totalling $70 with shipping and if I can get the same thing in a store for less, I am all for it. picksie 04-01-2005, 10:26 AM Oh, on my experience... I sought out these products after a coworker told me about her sister's and her friends' experiences with the facial lotion and eye cream. They have had visible results with both so in my quest for something to help both my acne/clarity and fine lines, I thought I'd check this out. I also have flaking from salycylic acid products that I thought the exfoliating nature of the glycolic would eliminate.... Three weeks later, I still have flaky skin and am not breaking out much less but am still using it in the hopes that it might take several weeks to see improvement for both the acne and fine lines. The one thing that has improved is my overall skin texture. sammy726 04-01-2005, 02:21 PM Well, I have already ordered 4 products from them for $80 with free shipping. I haven't received them yet, but I've heard good things about MD Forte, so I'm anxious to try them. Neutrogena has a new line with glycolic acid, I believe they are called "Advanced Solutions". I was going to try them out, but went with the MD instead. I'm only 24 so wrinkles aren't a problem (yet!), but I have combo skin, large pores, and mild acne. picksie 04-01-2005, 03:38 PM I've also heard good things, amazing things actually and I figure it can't hurt to try the line. And I'm using this in the hopes to stave off wrinkles (I'm 28) - it's never too early for prevention! I can see a few areas that could be issues in the future if I don't act now. Anyway, I just hope that the case is I haven't been using it long enough.... and that it will do what it's supposed to. Could also be that I chose the wrong products. There is a lot to choose from and I was just going off my best guess. Like everything else, it may take some adjustments. MsPeace 04-01-2005, 11:51 PM I've used MD Forte glycolic facewash & lotion and loved them. In my experience, they are way better than any drug store brand. At first my face was a little irritated (I have very sensitive skin) but after a while all the dead cells fell off and my skin became smooth and soft. They never clogged my pores and I have acne-prone skin. If you bought the glycolic lotion, make sure to start off with a little as too much will burn your skin. My latest winning combo is ederma glycolic face wash and the MD III lotion. peregrine 04-02-2005, 03:47 PM I just started using them. I'm very satisfied so far and have never found drug store quality to compare. You can often find them cheaper on ebay. You might also want to check out the online dermatologist connected with MD Forte and other products. A wealth of information there about these and similar products and what exactly to you use for one's particular needs. |
