I know this is totally wrong but i'd like to prove to my dad that im right!
He heard on some tv show that 10min of jump rope is the same as 30min on an elliptical or stair stepper ect.... I tried telling him no way no how since 30min is 30min of your heart beating...if you only do 10min thats all you gonna get!
Am I right?

If you're talking about calories, it isn't the same. But it all depends on the intensity of the rope skipping/stepping/etc.

15 minutes of skip roping is equivelant to 30 minutes of jogging. U burn 200 cals jump roping for 15 minutes or running for 30 minutes. therefore if u ran only 15 minutes, u'd burn less calories. I personally like the skip rope cuz i hate running in front of ppl and its a lot quicker.
