iI have had chronic irritant dermatitis for a year now, what should I do?

I am dealing with the same thing. There is mild inflammation that will not go away. I also have redness. Is this similar to yours. I have tried all kinds of stuff including oral and cream hydrocortisone. Let me know if you symptoms are the same.

Yes, mild inflamation, tender to touch, and a warm sensation upon touch. I've tried topical steroids, all of that. I stopped using them and now it is back to the stage where the dead skin is building up into clusters.

Which areas of your body have chronic irritant dermatitis? Do you know what irritants cause it?
I guess it seems obvious, but how can you get rid of it unless you stop being exposed to irritants that are driving it? Products we use on our bodies contain many irritants. Foods and fabrics and metals can also irritate some people.
