So I just got my period and am going back on the pill. It's time to decide the if I want to do a day 1 start or a sunday start.

As far as I know, the day 1 start has the advantage of being effective right away and not having to resort to other methods of bc for one week.

The Sunday start seems to just be more convenient to keep up with.

Which do you think starts your period on a Monday and gets rid of it by the weekend? I'm not really sure because I'm starting Mircette and was on desogen. Mircette has the 2 inactive pills and then 5 pills with a lower dose of estrogen and no progestin, shrug.

I'd really like to pick the no period on the weekend solution!
