Hi everybody
I am fairly pale w/ brown hair and I find that the nude color and totally neutral lipsticks are paling me out even more and I am wondering if anyone has found a good color that gives a little warmth to their face.

I have tried some pale pinks but I have found they can often give me a morgue kind of look.

I have attempted to find a subtle daytime red but to no avail......any ideas?

Thank you for your help

Right now washes of coral and peach are in. As long as you don't have pink undertones, these will look good on you with your brown hair, even moreso if you have any highlights. You can check MAC or Sephora's website for "looks" that are great, too. Some are out there but give you an idea.

You should look for something that has a combination of brown and pink in it. One of my absolutely favorite lipsticks is "Sparkling Rose" by Christian Dior. It's $23 but I love the texture and the color is very flattering yet subtle (I have a fair complexion too and light pinks and brown nudes look terrible on me, so it's possible we have a similar skin tone). Another one that's cheaper and also very flattering is "Think Bronze" by Clinique. Good luck!

I'm the same coloring as you and can't find a nice nude J-Lo kind of lipstick. They look awful on me. If you want a sheer kind of wash for you lips just to give some color but not too made up, I like the new tinted lipbalms from Neutrogena. I have one in Pure which is cherry pinkish in tone or Nude which is slightly more brownish and subtle. You don't need a mirror to reapply but they have a good amount of pigment.
If you want more of a lipstick, try Origins Rain and Shine Cherry Baby (yummy minty flavor too) or their Just bitten Rasberry (I think that's what it's called) They're sheer lipsticks and suit pale complexions better than those peachy beige nudes that suit blonde or tanned women. Also, don't forget some blush to arm up your complexion.
