Hi everyone

My husband and I just joined weight watchers together. I was just wondering something.

He is 6'2 and currently weighs about 260. He wants to get down to 195! To me it seems like he will be very skinny at that height and weight.

Does anyone know if he will be ok at 195 being 6'2"?

195 is just fine for someone his height. I'm 6'1", and 184 is the max weight that I should be.

My husband is 6' even, and his doctor said he should get below 175. Looks like there is a pattern here. Congratulations on getting him to join WW with you. Your weightloss may actually be a bit of fun since you're doing it together. :)

Annee Thanks also!

It helps to know that this weight is not unreasonable. I was so worried. I think he is such a good looking man now and I didn't want him to get so skinny (LOL) that there wouldn't be anything there to hug!!! LOL

I feel great that he joined with me. It is so much easier when I cook, he eats what I eat now! I lost 5lbs my first week! :)

One quick warning, and you may already know this. Congrats on losing 5lbs in the first week. It's an accomplishment! Just imagine when you get to your goal (I'm on my way, but I've come quite a way).

However, it comes off fast right away. It'll slow down, so don't let it get you down if you see that happen. Every diet works, you just need to stick with it. Good luck to you and your husband.

Thanks. I truly don't feel like I'm on a diet. We are doing Weight Watchers points system. You eat whatever you want in the alloted points you are allowed for the day. It basically just keeps you in check with how many calories you should be having in one day. We eat what we want, just healthier eating and in moderation. Some days are harder then others.

Weight loss has been a battle for me my entire life. This is the first time I'm trying to do it the right way.

Thanks again!
