Just thought I would write in. It has not been a good week! Sarted period and always get so weepy about everything , drives me nuts!! I started the itching on Monday night, OMG I am going nuts!! It is only at night and starts around 1:00am untill I wake up at 6:00- keeps me up all night!! I slathered a tone of lotion on last night and still no help!! It is like it is inside. I dont have it during the day which is so weird!! My face also has all of the sudden gone south and I am only 38!! I have these 2 deep wrinkles above my lips - vertical lines, I want to cry everytime I look in the mirror - I am starting to get desperate, I dont know what to do about it! I have always had great skin and looked 10 years younger now I am looking older and feel so ugly! I am wondering if it could be from the Yasmin or just another symtom of the Peri? I just got these lines around January like overnight!! My husband asked me this morning if I was going to have all the symtoms, he did not mean to sound smart ellect but I took it that way and told him I sure wasnt having them on purpose!! I REALLY HATE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont have any friends that can even understand because none of them are going thru any of this, even one of my friends that is 46 is clueless! DO any of you have any suggestions on the wrinkles, I take very good care of my skin, sunscreen moistiorizer ect,, I just want them to go away so I can look in the mirror and NOT CRY!!! Sorry to ramble - I am just so depressed and I just wanted to talk to someone here!! Thanks for listening!!

Hello! I can totally relate! Have you had your estrogen level checked? Everything you state sounds like low estrogen. I am 41 and have noticed a lot more lines and thinner skin, especially on my hands and neck. My estrodial level was 30. My doctor told me I had about the same amount of estrogen as my husband-YIKES! Anyway, I am on the Climara patch and hoping that will help! :)

I had it checked last May and had the FSH test and came back very low on Estridol so I tried it without anything and then my Dr. put me on Loestrin and I could not take it so now I have been on Yasmin since January. I go back in May for yearly and will have everything checked again!!She had thought that I was too young at first even with all the symtoms I had told her about and then when the test came back she said that I was Peri!! AGHHHH- I just hope I can make it through without going NUTS, I don't have anyone that understands or that is supportive!!!!!!!! :bouncing:

There was a doctor on the Today Show promoting a book she wrote (she is also their medical newscaster) and in her book, she said she uses estrogen cream on her face.
She said little gets absorbed systemically and her skin plumps up beautifully from it.
The only other wrinkle cream is Rx and not many tolerate it well...Retin-A.
Wait until your hubby goes through Andropause...then make him eat his words, LOL !

Hubby already has to have a testostrone shot every month, but he only gets tired and worn down and always knows when it is time for one. He has studyied up and knows I am having HELL with the Hormones, but it is hard to talk to him because he has enough stress with his job ect so I don't want to burdden him with my stuff!!
Would that cream be over the counter?? I have never heard of Estrogen cream, now I have heard of Progestron but have not used it.
I did do a e***hite and cornstarch facil tonight just to see what happens? It reminded me of the Avon Micarcole pink stuff my Mom use to put on her face only without the smell!! HA!

The estrogen cream requires a Rx from a doc. It is usually used on the vagina for atrophy issues, but this doc smears it on her face, LOL !! She figured if it plumped up one area, why not the other :)
