Can anyone tell me why my white cells are low I have had 6 blood tests over the last 6 months and all indicate my blood cells to be low My WBC count in all has been around 3.4 (normal range 4.0 -11.5) Ive also not been feeling very well at all lately. Any ideas. The white cell types, neutrophils and lymphosites seems to be the culprits. At the beginning of january my lymphocytes were at 1.8 (normal range 3.5 - 7.5). They are now at 1.4 (normal range 1.5 - 3.5). Any ideas anyone?

hi, ive no idea what it means im afraid, but im in roughly the same position.

doctor says my white blood cells are down a quarter on what they should be, and also only one of my liver enzymes is high, which he says is strange.

ive been feeling really ill over the last month which is why i had the blood tests, but my symptoms are so random and inconsistent with the blood test results that he doesnt know whats wrong with me (dizziness, lightheadedness, tingling in arms, numbness in leg, neck stiffness, sensitive stomach etc)

he has referred me to a blood specialist, but i wondered if anyone knew what low wbc count indicated?
