Hi all. In January I was feeling lethargic, lightheaded, and over all just not myself. I went to the doctor and they suspected my thyroid, hypoglycemia, and anemia. They did the tests and my thyroid, and blood sugar were fine. My HGB and HCT levels were in the normal range, but barely. My WBC was 3.7. They asked me to come in again 1 month later to have my blood retested. I didn't end up doing it then, because I was sick with a cold. I waited another month and had it tested again. This time it showed that my WBC was 3.6 and it showed that I was slightly anemic. A week later I had my blood tested again and it showed that my WBC was 2.7 and I was no longer anemic (barely). My Lymph % was 50.1 which is .1 higher than normal and my Nuet count was 1.1 which is a little low.

I'm still feeling tired and lightheaded at times. Otherwise I feel like I'm healthy. I have been referred to a Hematologist, but they have not called me to set up an appointment yet.

Thanks for all of your help!!

My WBC runs low too. A couple months ago it was 3.2. My doctor has never even mentioned anything about it. Low WBC seems to be normal for me. Why, I don't know. My mom also has a low WBC so I maybe get it from her??

I don't have an appointment until May 26th, but I'll keep you posted. Aparently, the specialist must not think there is anything to be concerned about or I think they would have scheduled my appointment sooner.

I am having another symptom in addidtion to the ones I first talked about. For the past 2 weeks, my legs have felt achy. It feels like I walked a lot or was on my feet all day, but nothing has changed as far as activity level. I thought I was possibly dehydrated so I increased my water intake and that didn't effect it at all.

I just wish May 26th would hurry and get here.
