I started Depo 1 1/2 months ago. I started having sex a week later for the past 2 weeks I have been naseous all the time escepially when I eat. My stomach is sore and I no longer like to lay on it. I was having so really bad moody problems the other week. The strange thing is though is the same day I was moody I had sex and then started bleeding, the next day I had like a piece of blood skin tissue come out. I almost completely stopped bleeding, then I had sex and started up agian. I am worried since a friend of mine bled for 11 months straight on the depo and recently found out she was 3 months pregnant. Do you have any idea what it might be. Help!

i can completely relate to what you are saying with having those symptoms, everytime i eat anything i feel sick and nauseous and my stomach just doesn't feel right. i actually haven't had sex however for 3 weeks, because my 1st shot was 3 weeks ago and i got my period the second day and it hasn't stopped yet. and i think that piece of skin you are referring to is actually your wall thickening to protect more against the sperm getting in, you might just want to take a preg test or contact your doctor to make yourself feel better, good luck

I do not want to scare you, but if you think you may be pregnant definitely go get a test done. A very close girlfriend of mine is due in July, it was a few weeks after her SECOND Depo-shot that she thought she might be pregnant. It is not impossible to become pregnant while on Depo, and I am sure there are many who can attest to this fact.
On the other hand, Depo is a pretty heavy dose of progestins, which may make your body mimic some symptoms of pregnancy, especially if you're sensitive to horomones. Depo makes LOTS of women very moody (some become an absolute wreck), and breakthrough bleeding is quite common the first 3-6 months. Good luck.

I still haven't had a chance to take a pregnancy test, but I was wondering if back pain could be because of the birth control, since I have had it all the time for a while now.
