I am getting discouraged because I have been struggling with pain and problems for two and a half years and still do not have a diagnosis...but recently, my doctor discovered a slightly elevated calcium level in my blood and has sent me to an endocrinologist to try to figure out if I have a bone disorder or something else.

Anyway, I keep getting new symptoms like everyday...and one of the recent ones is blood clots all over my right arm (the doctor said they are superficial...not the deep, scary ones) and even one in my right leg. I'm afraid I have them other places as well, although my regular doctor doesn't think it is a big deal. I am a fairly young adult, and it just doesn't seem normal to me. Almost all my symptoms are on my right side. My right hip keeps popping in and out of place, the muscle aches/bone pain are on the right side, I get sore throats only on the right side, constant post-nasasl drip only on the right side, etc.

Does anyone have ANY idea what is going on with me? Are there bone disorders that tend to cause small blood clots close to the surface of the skin?

I am scheduled for a bone scan in a couple weeks to see if the high calcium level in the blood has caused any osteoporosis. I'm a little afraid of all the x-ray tests I've had and all the radiation exposure...but I do need to get to the bottom of this. Do any of you have to gets lots of radiation-type tests done (x-rays, scans) regularly?

Sorry for all the questions. I'm a little scared and very confused about what is going on. Thanks for any responses!
