hi...i'm a nineteen year old female and i found a small lump in one of my breasts during my monthly self exam. i have never found one before and i have been doing them since i was 15.i have also skipped my period for three months (i'm definetly not pregnant) and been feeling fatigued lately despite the fact that i sleep well, excersise and eat pretty healthy. i had assumed i was too young to have any form of breast cancer and i can't seem to find any information about young woman and breast cancer...just websites saying its rare. i basically want to know if i should be concerned about the lump and the other issues. i don't have health insurance so i wanted to get some...informed opinions before i spend an arm and a leg to visit a doctor.

i have never had breast cancer, thank goodness, but i would think that with any lump, it would be smart to get it checked out.

by the way, i think it is great that you do self breast exams regularly. i have always been terrible about doing them myself.
