devin butler 07-10-2003, 12:11 AM hey i was wondering if anyone knows about or has had a deviated septum. I broke my nose when i was a kid and since its been slightly crooked so now i want to see if i can fix it anyone have any advice or info? thanks tool 07-16-2003, 07:10 AM Dont do it, it's not worth the risk when you're not actually sick and are doing it just for looks. I had it and ended up with meningitis... now that made me ill!!!! hrtofluv 07-23-2003, 08:44 AM I as well as several people I know have had their deviated septum kixed via surgery and had no problems. Granted - there are risks to any surgery. You would need to see an otolaryngologist (ear, nose, throat) dr. for the surgery.
