Hello everyone! I've been a reader of the boards for awhile and you all seem to be so helpful so I was really hoping someone could help me....I just started taking tricyclen-lo last monday 3/28 and I started getting a fever, headaches, tightness in my chest, and naseua on Thursday morning. I've been throwing up for the past two days. Could this be the pill or could I just have a flu? I don't want to get off the pill and find out that it had nothing to do with it, however, I don't want to stay on them and have them mess up my body. Are these common side effects of the pill? Thank you for all the help....

While it could be the pill, I'd blame a cold or the flu on your symptoms. Sounds like a coincidence.

Keep taking the pill as directed. If you still feel ill after a cycle or so, definately let your prescriber know.
