My daughter began having migraine headaches in March of 2002. Ever since then she continues to have them on a non regular basis. The only thing is that when this first began, we were new to this and the first round lasted 2 weeks. She began to see a neurologist and began taking medication. She tried Imitrex but that gave her severe chest pains and had trouble breathing. She has been on a number of meds since. She is currently taking Calan and Zonegran to prevent the migraines. The problem is that she has had trouble every year since then the last week of March and the headaches last almost 2 weeks. The only way she was able to get rid of them in 2003 and 2004 was in the hospital. The medicine she was given was DHE. We have avoided the hospital this year with Migranal (DHE) which seems to be helping. Has anyone had this problem in the last week of March?
