Hi, I have just found this message board. I care for my partner full time, she suffers from clinical depression. Sometimes it is very hard going, there is a local carers organisation and I have been to a few meetings but apart from the support worker I have been the only one who has turned up.
It would be nice have contact with others who have the same experiences I do, is there anyone there?

If you are interested there is a fine collection of friends on the 'Depression' board who would love to talk to you even though most of us are sufferers rather than carers.

We often get people asking about depressed relatives and always welcome them with open arms....

Thanks for your reply Zafu, and I may well take you up on it although my partner may well want to join your group and she may just like the idea of having someplace she can chat that is just hers if you understand what I mean.
