View Full Version : White "film" on sides of face near eyes?

I suffer from Chronic Sinusitis, Allergic Rhinitis and a deviated septum. My nose is always producing a thin, drippy liquid, I sneeze, have post nasal drip and my eyes go from dry to watery.

Anyway, pollen season is hitting us really bad here and I have noticed that I am waking up in the mornings with a dry, thin, white-ish film of what appears to be dried tears on the sides of my eyes every morning. Not the eyes themselves but just opposite to the corner of my eyes.

Anyone else get this?

That's a sign of allergy eyes. An antihistimine eye drop should help.

hi. have you tried the nasal irrigator, the pulsating spray is supposed to get the cilia back to good shape..i have dry eyes. deviated septum which i had sugery on..dont know as how it did any good..but have been reading on cilia...haven't tried the pulsating thing but plan on it..anything for relief..i have the same thing you described upon waking adn at times from the corners of my eyes it feels as though stuff goes into my hairline and makes my head so tight...sounds really strange..but i am not crazy or on drugs and therefore know something is wrong somewhere...most people tend to lump it up to nerves...will keep ya posted on if the p.thing helps...
