I'm sure I shouldn't be worried, but it helps to get other opinions to ease your mind !!

I just started taking BC this past month. My period started on the 10th of March, and I started the pack that Sunday. .........I did not have sex for the first two weeks of being on the pill, (the package read after 7 days was safe) and then I had sex several times using condoms. On two of these occasions, they condom came off, but I wasn't really worried since I'm on the pill, haven't missed any, taken the same time, etc.

Well ....I took the last active pill on Saturday, today is Wednesday and I still do not have my period. That's 4 days. Shouldn't I have started by now? If I wasn't taking the pill, I wouldn't actually be late yet, as I wouldn't be starting until around the 9th - 11th of this month. But I thought I should be starting it between the 2 - 4th day of taking the last active pill?

So ........should I be worried if it doesn't come today? Am I considered late for starting my period?

Since its your first pack it may come a little later perhaps thursday or friday. Your body needs to adjust to the hormone. There is a slim chance you are pregnant, however although it says wait only 7 days on the prescription some docs say wait the full month, just because there is a chance you could have ovulated before you took the first pill. If your period doesnt come you could take a preg test but I am sure it is just that your body is getting used to the pill.
