Once you go off of the pill....how long does it take to get completely out of your system??? I just stopped Yasmin today and was wondering.

And I just started my second pack on Sunday...so I stopped it just three pills into a pack.....so how will that effect my cycle exactly???

When going off the pill it takes about 2-3 months or cycles to get back into your reg cycle.

I did a lot of research on this before surgery. While you immediately stop having protection from pregnancy, the general consensus is that it takes a minimum of 4 weeks for the pill to leave your system enough that your surgery risk goes back down.
