Now my friends who are more knowledgable and a couple of them did indeed see the show you are referrring to said this.

The venom from the scorpion issue, is for a cancer called Gliboblastoma which is a deadly form of brain cancer. Not MM related. They are indeed doing research on it but for that other form of cancer.

If your Dad has brain mets, then it is really not the same thing, it is still melanoma even if in the brain, lungs, etc.

One person thought they said melanoma but when she re watched it found it not to be for Melanoma.

Maybe when your dad goes to his appointmnt at the clinic in Lousiville, he will be able to get more info. Are you perhaps going with him?
